Bode is such a smiley boy! He loves to sit on the floor and pull out every toy he can get his hands on. His primary mode of transportation right now is rolling.
We spent our second day of summer vacation at

Bode has really started drinking out of a big boy cup. He loves to drink plain water out of it and he thinks he's pretty neat!
We went camping with Papa Doug and Grandma Karen this weekend and Drew got to ride with Papa around the camp ground on all sorts of motorized things. He absolutely loved every minute of the trip!

Summer break started for us on the 23rd. We are so excited to have a lot of extra time to spend together as a family. We have a lot of events coming up in the future weeks. Danny gets married on the 9th of June and Drew is the ring bearer and Joe is the best man. Joe is taking a class this summer for his math endorsement at Upper Iowa, so he will be busy at least two days a week. I am taking an online class in attempt to finish my reading endorsement. Joe is golfing in a bunch of tournaments as well. Drew will be taking swimming lessons beginning on June 18th and Bode will be watching us all, and I'm sure he'll find time to learn how to crawl and make things even more interesting. It's going to be a fun and busy summer!
